Honouring the Tradition
This groundbreaking ceremony marks our commencement of work at Stage One Atrium and the beginning of a momentous journey to set the bar for sustainable modern living.
The speeches were followed by a traditional turning of soil and the smoking ceremony led by a local Deerubbin Elder to emphasize the project’s commitment to honouring the history and heritage of the region and the community.
A Vision for the Future
Dr. Michelle Byrne, Mayor of the Hills Shire, highlighted the significance of the project in addressing Sydney’s critical housing needs. “This masterplan will not only provide over 800 new homes but also build a thriving community in Castle Hill,” she said. “It’s an exciting development that will bring people together and attract more residents to the area.”
The event also provided a unique platform for industry leaders to share their insights and vision for the future of Australian Construction. The Acting NSW Building Commissioner, Matt Press stated, “Housing is a massive investment for any consumer, and it is absolutely vital that they can trust the developer and builder they are dealing with. We need iCIRT-rated developers and builders like Ellipse Property and Decode to be the backbone of our industry, and the type of quality players that are filling the void of the housing supply crisis,”
The groundbreaking ceremony was not only a prestigious moment but also a chance for all guests to build meaningful connections and share a unified vision for a more sustainable and quality future for Australian housing.
