On Friday 5 September, the Decode team proudly took part in Home Sweet 2025, hosted by Link Wentworth at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith. The event brought together more than 100 participants united by a common goal: raising funds and awareness to support people experiencing homelessness and housing stress in Western Sydney.
Together, the community raised an incredible $302,690 for three vital charities: Platform Youth Services, Women’s Community Shelters and the Link Wentworth Scholarship Program.
Decode was joined by the team from P & E Commercial, Auswide Corp, Proview Scaffolding, Dulux and Geminiar, whose commitment and contributions helped amplify the impact of this important cause.
The evening featured inspiring words from Member for Penrith Karen McKeown MP OAM and Deputy Mayor Ross Fowler OAM, as well as heartfelt stories and performances that shed light on the challenges faced by some of the most vulnerable in our community. At Decode, we believe that building stronger communities extends beyond construction. Supporting initiatives like Home Sweet 2025 is an important part of our commitment to creating positive, lasting change.
A big thank you to Link Wentworth for leading this inspiring event, and to all the sponsors, partners and sleepees whose efforts will make a real difference to countless lives.
