Decode Group has successfully delivered Antara Living at Sydney Olympic Park, a landmark 15-storey residential development that sets a new standard for sustainable high-rise living in NSW. Designed by award-winning PTW Architects and delivered in partnership with Artazan Property Group, Antara Living will be the first high-rise residential building in NSW to achieve a 6-Star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

What Is a 6-Star Green Star Rating and Why Does It Matter?
The Green Star rating system is Australia’s national benchmark for sustainable buildings, developed and administered by the Green Building Council of Australia. A 6-Star Green Star rating represents world leadership in building performance — the highest rating available and one that very few buildings in Australia achieve.
A First for High-Rise Residential in NSW
While 6-Star Green Star ratings have been achieved by civic buildings, commercial offices and masterplanned communities in NSW, Antara Living is the first high-rise residential building in the state to reach this standard.
This is a significant milestone. High-rise residential construction carries unique sustainability challenges, the density of occupation, the complexity of building services and the scale of materials involved all make achieving a 6-Star rating substantially harder than in lower-density or commercial settings.
That Antara Living has achieved it sets a new benchmark for what is possible in NSW residential development and signals to the broader industry that world-leading sustainable design is not out of reach for high-density housing.
About Antara Living
Designed by PTW Architects, Antara Living brings together sustainable design and considered liveability across 125 apartments and 15 storeys at Sydney Olympic Park.
The building’s most distinctive feature is a landscaped open-air internal atrium — a rare design element in high-rise residential that brings natural light and ventilation deep into the building’s core. Rather than treating sustainability as a technical compliance exercise, the design integrates it directly into the experience of living in the building.
The project features:
Sustainable materials and systems selected for their environmental performance and long-term durability.
Thoughtfully planned interiors that maximise natural light, space and liveability for residents.
3 basement levels supporting the building’s services and parking requirements without compromising the residential floors above.
A landscaped atrium providing a unique communal connection to greenery and open space within the building envelope.
With a 4-Star iCIRT rating, $1.4 billion active pipeline and a track record of delivering complex projects to the highest standards, Decode is the builder of choice for developers across NSW.
